KALAMAZOO -- The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees has approved a 7.4% hike in tuition for this fall, the largest hike being put in place by any of the state’s four year institutions. That will push the price tag to over $4,000 a semester, up about $624 for freshmen and sophomores.
President John Dunn explained that even with the hike, WMU is still a bargain compared to most others. Their tuition will be 10th highest among the 15 state colleges.
